Badge Rules

Badges must be worn at all times.

When you register for the convention you are provided a convention pass that you can wear on a lanyard. This pass will often have a unique barcode identifier that is connected to your account. This pass must be worn at all times during the convention, so that we have an accurate track of who is attending the convention at any given time in case of an emergency.

You can also scan your own QR code and add your emergency contact information, which will be useful in case of any emergency situation.

Not wearing a badge.

If you have forgotten your badge in your room or your car, we ask that you go back and get it and keep it securely on you at all times during the entire event.

If you are not wearing your badge, you may be kicked out of the event or kicked off the venue property that we are holding the event at. Our venues cooperate with us in enforcing our badge policies, because they believe that we should have an accurate number of attendees at the event for security and emergency purposes.

Lost badges.

In the event you have lost your badge, we encourage you to trace your steps and see where you might have lost it. This badge is connected to your account and so it is important you don’t lose it.

If you can’t find it, please stop by our Con Operations. We will ask for information about where you lost it, and keep an eye out for it. If it has not been turned in after a certain amount of time, you may be able to obtain a replacement badge, but typically this costs the same as a new badge.

We have had individuals abuse the opportunity to obtain a replacement badge in order to provide badges to their friends without paying, and so providing a free replacement badge is not possible.

Found badges.

If you have found a badge, please turn it in promptly to Con Operations. Our staff will try to get it back to its rightful owner.
